For months you’ve been glancing at the brown paper in the windows of suite A-9 across from Mike’s Music Exchange and wondering. Finally, your questions will be answered.
With a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 4pm, the new Santa Fe Brewing Company Tap House celebrates its grand opening in La Tienda on Friday, November 19th.
An eastside extension of the brewery’s already-popular Tasting Room, the Tap House has SFBC’s beloved brews on draught, as well as selling six-packs and kegs to go. In addition, you now have a new place to go watch your favorite teams. Two large-screen televisions provide coverage of major sports games, including Monday Night Football and the NBA Championships.
If you prefer to be a person-of-action, grab some friends for a game of shuffleboard on Tap House’s brand-new table. Or if you just need a place to relax and surf the web, come take advantage of their large couch and free wifi.
Open seven days a week, the Tap House hosts happy hour from 4pm-6pm every day, $2 pint night on Tuesdays (a must-stop at the next Out and About Night) and dollar-off growler refills on Thursdays so that you can stock up for the weekend. And don’t forget to pick up some food
at La Plancha or Gene’s Sandwich Shop on your way for a beer. This is one bar that’s cool with BYOF (bring your own food), unless you feel like filling up on bar munchies.
So come on out for a pint of Santa Fe Pale Ale, State Pen Porter, or whatever your favorite SFBC brew may be, and introduce yourself to their friendly bartenders. You’ll be happy to find a place where everyone knows your name.
Hours: Sunday 12p-8p, Monday-Thursday 3p-11p, Friday 3p-12a, Saturday 12p-12a
