Thank you so much for helping us raise $800 at the Doctors without Borders fundraiser on Saturday, January 23rd. Turnout was great, and everyone was incredibly generous. We beat our initial goal of $500, and then–surprise!!!–we received a final donation of $1000 to bring our total donation to $1,800! Incredible. We are excited to start planning for the next one to be held Saturday, March 20. One rider from the first fund raiser suggested riders collect “sponsors” for their ride who would pay, for instance, $5 for every 15 minutes ridden. For those who would like to do this, we’ll have “Sponsor Sign-Up” forms at SpinDoc in early March.
The February class schedule is up on our web site,www.spindoc.com. Please be aware that there are some scheduling changes. Kirk is racing in Tucson at the 24 Hours of The Old Pueblo on Valentine’s weekend. Chandler will be with him to scrape him off the race course. For detailed information about how this affects Spindoc’s schedule Feb. 11-15 (including no 7:00AM classes on Friday the 12th and Monday the 15th you want greater detail, visit http://www.spindoc.com/Class%20Schedules/Spindoc%20February%20iCal.pdf .
Spring is right around the corner, and the doctor is increasingly busy with bike repairs and tune-ups. Don’t wait until you’re ready to ride only to discover your bike needs some TLC. Check it out now, and if in need of some care, bring it in. The bike shop will be closed on Tuesdays for the month of February, but is open the remaining six days per week. The web site has current hours of operation. Keep those gears a-cranking, and we’ll see you at SpinDoc!
