Shelley Campbell in Concert
The Performance Space is pleased to welcome Shelley Campbell for her debut concert performance. Join us for an evening of song and live music at its finest.
Shelley Campbell, an up and coming singer, will inspire and delight her audience in her debut concert as a solo artist Dec.2nd! Growing up in Albuquerque one of her musical experiences included singing back-up for “The Steve O’Neil Band” in the 80’s, which opened up for “The Motels”. Having then lived on Kauai until 2004, she appeared on “Hawaii Stars,” Hawaii’s version of American Idol, recorded a song for the soundtrack of the surf movie “Bali Hai” titled “The Last Illusion.” and won the talent portion of the “Miss Kauai” pageant with her rendition of the song “Dancing Bird” by Holly Near. Shelley’s lifelong passion for her singing career is to serve and connect with her audience in a more authentic, intimate, and meaningful way. One that will awaken, inspire and foster a sense of divinity & deeper connection to ourselves and each other. With the tenderness and yearning of her voice her deepest desire is to nourish the soul and enlighten the mind. The quality of her voice has been described as angelic, soulful, and heartwarming and has often moved people to tears. She will be accompanied by Michael Hall on piano, Darragh Nagle on guitar, and Christina Boiano & Diana James on vocals. Shelley is currently working on her first CD, due out in 2012.

Dixon Apple Orchard Benefit
As you may be aware, on the morning of June 27, 2011, Dixon’s Apple Orchard, exclusive growers of the Champagne Apple, and a beloved New Mexico tradition since 1944, was devastated by the Los Conchas Wildfire. The family home, storage facilities and essential equipment were destroyed.
A about a month ago we recieved a call from someone that wanted to help, to do something to help this family. That call started what seems like another wild fire. Individuals, community groups and businesses are coming together to create a fundraising benefit to help a really wonderful family.
Come join us Saturday, August 27th from 12pm to 6 pm at La Tienda for the Benefit for the Mullane Family, owners of the Dixon’s Apple Orchard. Click Here for a google map to La Tienda.
This will be a fun family day for everyone. There will be a Raffle and Silent Auction, put-put golf, horseshoes, games, classic cars, bike rodeo, horse rides for the littler kids, food and drink, music, clowns, yoga, spinning classes, and so much more.

Chuck Pyle in Concert
The Eldorado House Concert Series and Santa Fe Performance Exchange present Chuck Pyle, the Zen Cowboy.
Saturday, February 5, at 7 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 at Santa Fe Performance Exchange in the La Tienda shopping center in Eldorado.
Cost: $15 advance/$17 at door. Click here for tickets.
Chuck Pyle has won high praise from both fans and peers alike throughout an inspired performance career of over 40 years. When reviewers first gave him the “Zen Cowboy” moniker, he decided to, as he says, “Always ride the horse in the direction it’s going,” and took the nickname to heart, shaving his head and blending his upbeat perspective with old-fashioned horse sense. He mixes infectiously hummable melodies with straight-from-the-saddle poetry, quoting bumper stickers, proverbs, world leaders and old cowboys.
An accomplished songwriter, Chuck’s songs have been recorded by John Denver, The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band and Suzy Bogguss. Country fans know him best for writing, “Cadillac Cowboy”, recorded by the late Chris LeDoux, and “Jaded Lover”, recorded by Jerry Jeff Walker.
